Soooo much

So much has happened and it has not all been good. The first thing is that we decided to build a pavilion. This structure is the bees knees. There is a roof over the top half and all of the wood is made from cedar. This is so that it keeps the bugs from eating the wood. The cedar is also good for getting rid of bugs I have heard. Another cool thing is we live at Cedar Creek Lake. That must be where the cedar trees came from. This project has been underway since April, but that doesn't mean it wont get done. Now the best part of this pavilion that is available for rent is the grill. Mom knows the importance of a good grill since yours truly has been doing the grilling successfully for over 30 years as her son. This is not just your ordinary grill. Not even close. This is a commercial/industrial grade kitchen counter with almost everything you need. There is no room for a refrigerator so you have to use your cooler which is a bummer but its still going to be a cooking experience you will talk about with everyone. The counter extends maybe 20' so there is plenty of room to work. This area will have electricity and water to keep the place up and running when you need it. The roof has tin on the top for when it rains and as well as shade. The tin only covers half of the roof. This part is like a house without walls. The floor is concrete so you have a stable foundation to stand on when enjoying the ranch. The other side of the pavilion has a roof with cedar logs on top making it where some light can get through. the logs are simply laid on a brace that makes a square and the logs lay next to each other on the roof. Its great; we were so close to being finished and then we decide we needed a real bathroom. There have been three outhouses since the beginning of Llama land. The cool thing about now is that we have water ran to the pavilion and also water for RV sites. So now that we have water we are building a new bathroom that is handicap accessible. There will be one female bathroom and one male bathroom. The neat thing is that there will be a new addition; a shower for campers. The pavilion has regular 120 outlets for hooking up electricity to so you can have all of your phones chanring or anything else. We have had Bright Speed out and we are planning on having wifi at the pavilion and there might even be speakers in the cieling to jam out to. Because there are so few rules that have to be followed here why not have a little music.

Hard to believe this but there has been another renovation that is super helpful. We now have RV hook ups. The electricity is 50 amp so ya (I think that is the most you can get right now.) We have three hook ups as of now and will most likely have two more electrical spots for power. The camp sites are still without electricity but there will be a new bathroom with a shower so thats a nice change.
